T3 and 7-Eleven began working together in 2012 on the retailer's award-winning app.

"7-Eleven has been a great partner during the past few years we have worked with the company," said Ben Gaddis, chief innovation officer at T3. "They consistently have been open to innovation and experimentation to further enhance their customers' experience. Together, we are going to leverage digital, mobile and social to further 7-Eleven's position as the world's top convenience-retail brand."

"T3 has impressed us with its commitment to drive innovation," said Laura Gordon, 7-Eleven's vice president of marketing. "The people at T3 take a fresh, creative approach to their work and are not afraid to push the limits."

T3's new work on 7-Eleven's digital strategy will begin immediately with the first campaign rolling out in the spring of 2015.

Austin, Texas-based T3 (The Think Tank), founded by CEO Gay Gaddis in 1989, is one of the largest independent agencies in the United States.

7‑Eleven, based in Dallas, operates, franchises or licenses more than 10,400 7‑Eleven convenience stores in North America. Globally, more than 54,600 7‑Eleven c-stores operate in 16 countries. During 2013, 7‑Eleven c-stores generated total worldwide sales close to $84.5 billion.
