The Honolulu-based company said it expects the Shell station and the Aloha Island Mart to open around June 2017, with the IHOP and the Dunkin’ Donuts opening later this year.
Aloha has committed to building 15 Dunkin’ Donuts locations within an eight-year development agreement, representing locations on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii and possibly Kauai. With the opening of the Paiea Street Dunkin’ location, the Dunkin’ brand will enter its 41st state.
MC Architects is the designer of the more than $5 million project, and Arita-Poulson is the general contractor.
Aloha Petroleum is a subsidiary of Dallas-based Sunoco LP. It markets through approximately 100 Shell, Aloha and Mahalo stations and 46 Aloha Island Marts, four Menehune Food Marts and three Subways.
