CBC Names National Wholesale Accounts Manager

Konya comes to buying-services company from Core-Mark

WESTMONT, Ill. -- Consolidated Buying Co. LLC (CBC) has appointed Scott Konya as national wholesale accounts manager.

In his new position, Konya will assume full responsibility for identifying key wholesale distributor partners and facilitating the collaborative efforts involved in strengthening and promoting the wholesale channel of trade to CBC's more than 10,000 members.

Scott's extensive experience will be essential to our wholesale distributor business, a key component of CBC's convenience store plan, said Gregg Johnson, [image-nocss] COO of the buying-services company for North American petroleum operators. Our fast-paced industry commands the very best resources backed by a solid strategy that benefits our wholesale partners as well as our membersthis is fundamental to the CBC model. Scott makes a great addition to the first-class team already in place.

With more than 10 years' experience, Konya has held a variety of leadership positions in the wholesale and beverage industry. Prior to joining CBC, Konya worked for Core-Mark International's Atlanta division and Superior Beverage Group out of northeast Ohio.

Westmont, Ill.-based CBC provides national and regional supply agreements for c-stores, auto repair locations, OE dealer service locations, carwash facilities and fuel-hauling operations.
