Cheneler Joins Pinnacle Team

Tech firm names new vice president of sales

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pinnacle Corp. said that it has recruited John Cheneler as its new vice president of sales.

In this position, Cheneler will be responsible for the overall leadership, sales activities and market development of sales functions with his primary business focus on the convenience store and fuel petroleum industry. He will also be strongly involved in strategic input on emerging products, partnerships and vertical markets.

Cheneler will be based out of Pinnacle's corporate headquarters in Arlington, Texas.

For more than 24 years, Cheneler has directed strategic development for Fortune 500 companies and startup endeavors, Pinnacle said. He specializes in strategic and business development using marketing and information technology. Most recently, he was CEO of Greater Good Analytics, Dallas, an econometric market modeling company. Cheneler has held executive-level positions at publicly traded companies including Merck & Co., Verizon Communications and IBM in addition to ProSoft Corp. and Dallas-based consulting group Shotwell & Carr.

Pinnacle's president, Bob Johnson, said, John is an outstanding sales executive. His leadership abilities to bring innovation and motivation to a sales organization are proven. With his significant corporate and field sales experience, he is the 21st-century sales executive we need to keep pace with our industry leadership position and key product developments.

And in other company news, Pinnacle announced it has renewed its Gold Certified Partner status for 2006 in the Microsoft Partner Program with competencies in ISV/Software Solutions and Microsoft Business Solutions. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive benefits including access, training and support.

As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, Pinnacle had to declare a Microsoft Competency, designed to help differentiate a partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.

Pinnacle offers automation technology, focusing on the rapidly evolving c-store and petroleum industries. It delivers products that automate c-store operations and supply chain management of fuel operations.
