Delek US Holdings Breaks Ground for New HQ

Newly public company building in Brentwood, Tenn.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Delek US Holdings Inc. has broken ground for its new corporate headquarters in Brentwood, Tenn. The City of Brentwood, City of Nashville and Williamson County participated in the ceremony held at the site.

The two-story, 54,000-sq.-ft. building will be built on a portion of a 4.4-acre tract west of Interstate 65. The project, which is being developed by SouthLand Constructors LLC is expected to be completed in the spring of 2007.

Delek US recently became one of Middle Tennessee's publicly traded companies through its initial public offering (IPO) of common stock that closed on May 9, 2006.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Delek US Holdings is a publicly traded diversified energy business focused on petroleum refining and supply and on retail marketing. The company's business consists of two main operating segments: refining and retail. The refining segment operates a 60,000-barrels-per-day refinery in Tyler, Texas. The retail segment markets gasoline, diesel and other refined petroleum products and convenience merchandise through a network of company-operated retail fuel and convenience stores, operated under the MAPCO Express, MAPCO Mart, East Coast and Discount Food Mart brand names.
