EDITOR'S NOTE: Your New Daily News

CSP launches redesigned newsletter, website, social media opportunities

OAK BROOK, Ill. -- Welcome to your new CSP Daily News! More than 10 years after pioneering daily news to the convenience-store industry, CSP is proud to bring you this first major redesign of its award-winning daily newsletter since it first debuted in 2001.

With this issue, you'll find an updated, easier-to-navigate, easier-to-scan newsletter design and the same award-winning, quality content about the convenience-store industry that only CSP and its experienced editors can provide.

At the same time, we're pleased to bring you a brand-new website at www.CSPnet.com that we believe will become your go-to site for news, research, data and even conversation about convenience stores and the industry. You'll find an attractive website design that's easy to work with and provides numerous new functions, from an amazingly advanced search engine and quick looks at what others are reading, to an advanced video platform for CSPTV and the opportunity to comment on every story, video or slideshow.

At the new www.CSPnet.com, you'll also find higher-profile links to our social-media platforms. Our LinkedIn group offers lively conversation about industry issues and frequent job postings. Our Twitter feed, www.twitter.com/CSPInfoGroup, collects the Tweets of our staff members to bring you news, data and on-site reports that you can't get anywhere else, while also keeping you informed about what's new at CSP.

Finally, to coincide with the newsletter and website rollouts, we're thrilled to debut our CSP magazine Facebook page. With highlights from each day's news, must-see articles from CSP magazine and networking photos and video from CSP's numerous meetings and conferences, our Facebook page will keep you in the know and make you feel like you were there. (If you haven't seen the exclusive video highlights of Live-Band Karaoke from last month's Outlook Conference, check it out now!)

Of course, we also encourage you to download our mobile app--if you haven't already--so you can get the day's news conveniently on your smart phone.

So we urge you to poke around, log in, comment, "like" us. If you're still new to this whole social media thing, let CSP be your guide. If this isn't your first social-media rodeo, saddle up and ride and let me know what you think about our new daily newsletter and website. As the tagline says, we're "the source for convenience news online." We invite you to put us to the test and let us know where we stand.

Thank you! Steve
