Energy Drink Company Helps Open New Jenny's Market

Giveaways, more at Colo. retailer's latest c-store opening

DENVER -- DC Brands International participated in the grand opening of Jenny's Market's newest convenience store location in Highlands Ranch, Colo.,last Thursday.

The event featured special appearances by local broadcast personalities, free food and drinks, giveaways and a huge presence from Turn Left Energy Drink. The store was decorated with Turn Left point-of-sale (POS) materials including coolers, flags, pumptoppers and more.

Turn Left is one of the top-performing energy drinks for the Jenny's Market chain, and they knew we'd [image-nocss] go all out in supporting the grand opening of the newest location, said Richard Pearce, president and CEO of DC Brands International, Denver.

The Turn Left Corvette was parked and on display at Jenny's Market, and attendees of the grand opening were able to enter a contest for the chance to win the 2007 Corvette as well as tickets to select NASCAR races.

The Turn Left girls were also on hand, posing for pictures and giving away product.

Dino Costa of The Dino Costa Show, the local sports and political radio program, broadcasted live from the event. And Kurt Hansen of Turn Left-sponsored Race Central was on hand for live shots and was on-air with Costa.

Jenny's Market gave away prizes, including a go-cart, free scratch lottery tickets and samples of the retailer's new burritos.

The owner of the 40-plus Jenny's Market chainwill be coming to the Las Vegas shareholder event to make a very important announcement, said Pearce. We have formed an agreement to begin exporting the products to an entirely new continent, where the owner is from and maintains great connections.

In other DC Brands news, earlier this month, the energy drink company formed a new relationship with Kwin Wu of The Global Agency, Houston. Wu will act as one of the company's ambassadors both in the United States as well as overseas. The Global Agency specializes in importing and exporting a variety of items, and it represents many top Asian companies in the American market as well as bringing companies and brands to Asia.
