We are very excited about opening our new store in the high-traffic location of Figueroa at 8th street in downtown Los Angeles, the largest business district in Southern California, said Shiro Inoue, Torrence, Calif.-based Famima's president and CEO. He added, We are especially proud of our ongoing promotion with the City of Los Angeles, called See MY L.A.,' which will encourage more business growth while also introducing Famima!! to more people.

FamilyMart, hosted Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on his recent visit to Tokyo. While there, FamilyMart in Japan and the City of Los Angeles announced their cooperative promotion campaign, See MY L.A.
