FleetSource Appoints Marketing Director

Former Koch manager Necaise joins fleet card firm

NORCROSS, Ga. -- FleetCor, a provider of commercial fleet card issuing and processing services, continues to grow its new division, FleetSource. The company said that Ty Necaise, former marketing manager at Koch Industries, will take the reins as marketing director for FleetSource.

In his new role, Necaise will be responsible for developing new marketing programs to support FleetSource's current and future fleet card product offerings.

Ty's depth of experience in selling and marketing products and services to petroleum marketers [image-nocss] made him the obvious choice for this new position, said Benton C. Routh, president of FleetSource, Norcross, Ga. Necaise has in-depth knowledge in the fuels marketing industry, having advanced business significantly at Koch Industries Inc. during his 10-year tenure with the company, Routh said.

Bonita Springs, Fla.-based Energy Recruiters Inc. (ERI), a specialized executive search firm working in the petroleum, energy, consumer goods, retail and healthcare industries, assisted FleetSource in recruiting Necaise.

FleetSource brings together all the resources a petroleum marketer needs to accept universal and proprietary fleet cards, to issue fleet cards that are accepted into fleet merchant networks and to issue private-label or cobranded fleet card programs, said the company. These products and services are offered under the Fuelman, CFN and Mannatec brands and are available throughout the United States and Canada.

In other company news, the state of Utah has awarded its contract for an electronic fuel dispensing system network to FleetCor again. FleetCor has been providing its networked fleet fuel management service to the state for the past 16 years.

Utah's fuel network distributes more than two million gallons of fuel monthly to approximately 40,000 government-owned vehicles. It also operates about 1,200 alternative-fuel vehicles of which more than 200 run on the compressed natural gas (CNG). The estimated annual consumption of alternative fuels is 200,000 gallons of CNG and 15,000 gallons of all other altfuel types.

In addition to Utah's fuel dispensing system network, FleetCor also provides fleet card processing services for Delaware, Tennessee, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Michigan, and the New York City's Police Department.

FleetCor's card programs are marketed under a variety of private-label and proprietary brand names, including BP, CITGO, Fuelman, FleetNet, FleetSource, CFN, and Mannatec. FleetCor Technologies Inc. and its subsidiaries currently process 145 million transactions on 2.4 million cards for 358,000 fleets through its fleet operator, petroleum marketer, major oil private-label and cobranded businesses.
