Headlining the event will be Forbes Inc. president and CEO Steve Forbes, who recently served as national co-chair and senior policy advisor for Rudolph Giuliani's campaign for the 2008 presidential election.

Additional speakers include on Monday, E-Z Mart Stores' CEO and incoming [image-nocss] chairman for the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), Sonja Yates Hubbard, and senior economist for the National Center for Policy Analysis, Barry Asmus. On Tuesday, Joni Doolin, CEO and founder, People Report, and former POW and author of I'm No Hero, Captain J. Charles Plumb (retired), U.S. Navy Reserve.

The conference concludes on Wednesday with Thom Blischok, president of consulting and innovation for Information Resources Inc. (IRI), and Senator George Mitchell, former U.S. senate majority leader and partner, chairman of the global board of DLA Piper. Blischok's presentation includes independent and timely research on how today's c-store shoppers are relating to economic challenges. "And we have such an amazing speaker lineup. Really superstars in their respective fields, helping us focus on what's right with America."

Paul Reuter, president, CEO and editorial director of CSP Information Group, added, "This is a challenging time in our nation's economy and ultimately, our industry. We need some good news. Attendees are going to walk away with some good news and feeling good about our nation's efforts on multiple fronts."
