HOUSTON -- FuelQuest Inc., an on-demand software and services company for the global downstream energy industry, has announced two new additions to its staff. Ann Roskams serves as the new customer quality assurance manager, and Tim Blaney joins as the director of tax operations for FuelQuest.
Both Roskams and Blaney will be supporting FuelQuest's ZyTax product line. ZyTax works with petroleum suppliers, commodity traders, fuel distributors and retailers and government tax agencies to automate motor fuel excise tax calculation and reporting.
Roskams has more than 17 years of experience in the information technology field specializing in support desk and customer service. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in key roles supporting initiatives such as help desk consolidation, organizational restructuring, business development and consumer products systems implementation.
Blaney brings 15 years of application development and operations experience. Prior to joining FuelQuest, Blaney managed a development and operations team for a global telecommunications company. In this role, Blaney led an aggressive growth plan and system rewrite for the company's customer portal. He also has experience in the natural gas utilities, printing and insurance industries.
Roskams and Blaney will help us strategically refine our business development and support processes, said John Beaty, vice president of global tax solutions.
