Gill Grows in Garden State

New Maplewood location is company's second 76 station to N.J.

MATAWAN, N.J. -- Creative Management Inc.'s Gill Energy has announced the opening of its newest outlet, located in northern New Jersey, under the 76 fuel brand.

Gill not only adds 76 to its growing portfolio of brands, which include BP, Sunoco, Exxon and Mobil, but also brings with it a new fuel brand to the retail landscape in New Jersey.

This is Gill Energy's second 76 station in New Jersey, and the company expects to have 10 locations branded 76 by the end of 2013.

In Maplewood, N.J., the new site features the PROclean line of fuels, formulated by Phillips 66 Co., which also owns the 76 brand. This fuel brand is in a distinguished class of detergent fuels designated as Top Tier by auto manufacturers.

Additionally, the site has a 500-square-foot snack shop, with four multi-pump dispensers, an illuminated canopy and an LED price sign.

"We are extremely pleased with the initial customer response, and estimate volume growth of over 40% at this previously unbranded location," said Bikram Gill, CEO of Gill Energy.

"We are delighted to serve New Jersey motorists with a new fuel brand," said Kashmir Gill, president of Gill Energy. "We've built a reputation for providing consumers with convenience shopping while delivering value, and we're excited to be able to serve them even better with the addition of our newest store."

Established in 1990 in Perth Amboy, N.J., Creative Management Inc., T/A Gill Energy is a family-owned and operated fuel and convenience store chain. The company directly operates or supplies more than 115 branded and unbranded locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is among the fastest-growing BP and Sunoco jobbers in the state of New Jersey, it said.
