Hot Stuff Foods Adds Mulligan, Mehl

Two foodservice vets to lead "QBA" teams

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Tom Rose, executive vice president and chief customer officer of Hot Stuff Foods, has announced the addition of two 20-year foodservice veterans to the position of division director of operations for the eastern United States. According to Rose, Lisa Mulligan and David Mehl will each lead and manage six to eight franchise territory consultantsalso known as Hot Stuff Quest Business Advisors (QBAs) in supporting the company's and franchisees' ongoing growth and execution of the Hot Stuff Foods business plan.

Both Lisa and David bring [image-nocss] an impressive and successful background of customer service, management and recruiting, jumpstarting new and stagnate markets and working well with franchise partners, said Rose, Each have directed an impressive and steady growth track for both their respective organizations, as well as personally and professionally.

Mehl was most recently director of operations for Domino's Pizza in which he successfully developed all facets of the national chain's restaurant management, marketing and promotion, menu design and analysis and other dimensions for profitable growth. Prior to his tenure at Domino's, Mehl held executive operations and other management positions at Popeye's, Shoney's, Rally's and Wendy's.

Mulligan progressed quickly through the ranks within the Pizza Hut organization. She began her career working at a local unit, was promoted to general manager, director of training, recruiter, quality control manager, auditor, district manager and area and consulting coach. During her tenure, she received numerous awards and recognition including Manager of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Highest Sales Growth Award and Turnaround Award.

Des Hague, chairman and president of Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Hot Stuff Foods, said their experience with nationally recognized pizza brands will expedite their effectiveness implementing Hot Stuff's current and upcoming national food solution's initiatives.
