Institute for Civic Leadership Honors Dubyak

Wright Express CEO receives Distinguished Alumni Award

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine -- Michael E. Dubyak, president and CEO of Wright Express Corp., has been named the 2005 recipient of the Institute for Civic Leadership's Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his support and fostering of effective collaborative leadership.

Mike Dubyak has been instrumental in using a collaborative approach to develop a business that benefits the economic and civic health of our communities, said Ellen Grant, executive director of the Institute. We're pleased to recognize his efforts in this way.

This [image-nocss] is the first time that the Institute has given the award to a leader from the private sector. The award was presented at the Institute's Annual Meeting Luncheon on June 15.

I'm both humbled and honored to receive this award, said Dubyak. I strongly believe that Wright Express, as a new public company,will continue to take the initiative in addressing the needs of our communities. We look forward to continuing our work with community partners so that together we can generate new economic opportunities for the people of Maine.

The Institute for Civic Leadership was founded in 1993 to enhance Greater Portland, Maine's civic capacity by training and supporting a network of skilled leaders, building cross-sector relationships and providing ongoing resources and life-long learning opportunities in collaboration and facilitative leadership.
