The company issued notices on Feb. 1, with layoffs effective April 1.

No store employees were affected by the layoffs, said a report by KRISTV.

In November, Sunoco LP announced that it would planned to open an office in Dallas, where it will be closer to its parent company Energy Transfer Partners (ETP), which has its headquarters there, reported The Houston Business Journal.

In a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission, Teresa Gavigan, Sunoco LP senior vice president of human resources, said that Sunoco would be relocating certain leadership roles and corporate support functions to the company's new office in Dallas, the report said. She provided no further details.

Sunoco's general partner is owned by Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE).
