SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Dave Jones has been named Ohio vice president of sales for Eby-Brown, a major consumer products distributor to convenience stores in the eastern United States. Formerly performing as Ohio key account manager, Jones accepted this new position and begins work immediately.
He is a 31-year veteran of Eby-Brown, working in sales management in both the Orlando and Ohio distribution centers. Before entering into management, Jones worked as a commission sales representative in the Chicago market.
Jones said of his [image-nocss] new position: I am extremely confident I will continue to lead the Ohio market in a positive direction, and achieve greater successes while maintaining our status as the leader in the industry.
A privately held company, Eby-Brown, with headquarters in Naperville, Ill., is one of the largest distributors in the United States, providing consumer goods and other products to retailers in the convenience channel of trade.
