Kum & Go Buying Two JC's Corner Stores

Acquiring locations in West Des Moines, Urbandale

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go LC has signed a purchase agreement to acquire two JC's Corner Stores in central Iowa by the end of the month, according to a report by The Des Moines Register.

The deal involves JC's convenience stores in West Des Moines and Urbandale, the report said.

Kum & Go told the newspaper that the deal should be completed by the end of January, after which the stores will be renovated and rebranded under the Kum & Go flag.

A company spokesperson told CSP Daily News that it will officially announce the deal [image-nocss] and provide more details later this month.

West Des Moines, Iowa-based Kum & Go has more than 430 convenience stores in 11 states: Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakotaand Wyoming, with more than 3,600 associates.
