WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- On December 22, Kum & Go LC opened two new convenience stores in Vinita, Okla. These stores are located on the Will Rogers Turnpike and are part of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Oasis at the Vinita interchange--part of a $14.6 million renovation of the Will Rogers Archway.
While the stores are a part of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Oasis, it does not require a toll to get on and off the exit.
Kum & Go now has 49 c-stores throughout Oklahoma.
The company held a grand opening event before opening the c-stores to the public in the afternoon. Community representatives and city leaders took part in the opening ceremony; Governor Mary Fallin sent a video message.
The entire facility is 27,000 square feet. The stores will provide 24-hour foodservice and are the first Kum & Go stores in Vinita.
The new stores offer a wide array of freshly made-to-order pizzas, baked goods and breakfast and deli sandwiches, prepared daily in Kum & Go's onsite kitchen. Outside, a wide variety of fuel options give customers more value and choices at the pump, including diesel and E-85 fuel.
The West Des Moines, Iowa-based company has operates more than 430 convenience stores in 11 states (Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming).
