Kroger promotes Stewart to replace Van Tarver

CINCINNATI -- The Kroger Co. said that Ron Stewart has been promoted to president of Quik Stop Markets Inc., effective immediately. In his new role, Stewart will oversee more than 100 Quik Stop convenience stores in California and Nevada.

Stewart joined Kroger in 2003 as senior vice president of Kwik Shop Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in c-store management.

I look forward to working with a great group of associates and franchisees as we continue to grow our business by building on the convenience we offer our customers, [image-nocss] Stewart said.
