Chain donates $2,000 to local nonprofits at event

DICKSON, Tenn. -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores held a ribbon-cutting event at a new travel stop in Dickson, Tenn., located at Interstate 40/Highway 48, Exit 163. The event was held Wednesday, June 8, in partnership with the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the people and communities in which it operates, Love's donated $1,000 to the Burns Junior Pro Football Organization, a youth program in the community. It will donate another $1,000 to the South Dickson County Basketball team.

Love's district manager Alan Byrd [image-nocss] and general manager Brandon York presented a check to each organization during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"Love's is proud to be in Dickson and honored to donate to two programs that foster youth growth and development in the community," said Greg Love, president of Love's Development Cos. "We're excited to continue our growth in Tennessee, and we look forward to our partnership with the Dickson community."
