Love's Makes the List

Forbes' 2008 largest private companies ranking includes nearly 20 industry leaders
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores touted its recent inclusion in the 2008 Forbes magazine list of "America's Largest Private Companies." The rankings are based on annual revenues from 2007. This year's list ranks Love's at No. 25, a jump from No. 42 last year. Love's has consistently made the Forbes list since debuting at No. 446 in 2000.

"We're proud to once again be among the companies on the Forbes list, and to have climbed up to No. 25," said Tom Love, chairman and CEO of Love's. "We have experienced significant and [image-nocss] steady growth since our first Love's location, and despite the current economic climate our company is financially strong," he said.

Founded in 1964 by Tom Love, Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City, and remains family owned and operated. With more than 200 locations in more than 30 states, Love's current growth rate is approximately 15 stores per year.
