Mathis Appointed Director of Professional Services

PerformanceRetail names convenience vet to lead professional services team

AUSTIN, Texas --PerformanceRetail, a provider of web-based software for the high-velocity retail industry, said that Marsha Mathis, a 23-year veteran of the convenience retail industry, has joined the company as director of professional services.

Mathis brings to PerformanceRetail a wide range of convenience retail domain experience in marketing, operations and enterprise management in the software, services and technology industries. In her role as director of professional services, she is responsible for overseeing the implementation, training and [image-nocss] support of PerformanceRetail's products and services.

Prior to joining PerformanceRetail, Mathis was a vice president at Temple, Texas-based Professional Datasolutions Inc. (PDI), a provider of software and services to the convenience and petroleum industries. Specifically, she launched and managed PDI/InfoServe and PDI/Limited, a hosted retail automation, financial reporting and management information service located in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Additionally, her background includes experience in the fields of point of sale (POS), in-store dynamic advertising via satellite broadband and B2B financial settlement and reconciliation.

Austin, Texas-based PerformanceRetail's InSite, the company's modular suite of retail analytics and process automation applications, enables retailers to improve the profitability and efficiency of key merchandising and store operations business processes, it said. InSite and PerformanceRetail's suite of services are delivered as an on-demand service over the Internet.
