Farmer brings 15 years of retail experience to Break Time. Since 2012, Farmer had been employed by Rhodes convenience stores as a district manager. Prior to that, Farmer worked for New York & Co., Century 21, Delta Early Learning Center and Rogers Jewelers.

"Amanda brings a strong retail record and a lot of energy to our team," said Break Time Regional Manager Cathy Geotz. "Her character, experience and knowledge in the retail environment align very well with the principles and core values of Break Time. We feel fortunate to have Amanda as a key part of our team."

MFA Oil also recently promoted Jon Ihler as vice president of sales and marketing. Ihler is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, quality control and oil distribution warehouses as well as APM LLC, the dealer/wholesale company MFA Oil acquired in 2013.

Ihler joined MFA Oil in 2001, working in Big O Tires and Jiffy Lube management before moving to Colorado where he owned and operated his own franchised automotive business. Ihler returned to MFA Oil in 2006, serving as business development manager and director of sales and marketing before his current promotion.

"Jon's leadership with our sales and marketing teams, along with the success and growth of APM LLC, our dealer business, has greatly improved MFA Oil," said Mark Fenner, MFA Oil president and CEO.

And MFA Oil has hired Janice Serpico as vice president of human resources. Serpico joins MFA Oil with 30 years of human resources experience, most recently serving as the vice president of corporate human resources at Scientific Games Corp. in Chicago.

MFA Oil Co. is a farmer-owned cooperative with more than 40,000 members that was organized in 1929 by Missouri farmers who were seeking assurance of a reliable and quality supply of fairly-priced petroleum products. The company has been serving local consumers' needs since that time, becoming the largest supplier of propane in Missouri and creating the Break Time convenience stores in 1985 through its subsidiary, MFA Petroleum, which also operates the Big O Tire and Jiffy Lube franchises in mid-Missouri. In addition to propane, MFA Oil also sells fuels and lubricants to customers in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Iowa, many through unmanned fuel lots throughout the region. There are 78 Break Time locations in Missouri and Arkansas.
