Oliver Now Talking Turkey

Category manager leaves Fas Mart for Turkey Hill

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Phill Oliver, category manager for Mechanicsville, Va.-based GPM Investments LLC's Fas Mart and Shore Stop convenience-store chains, left the company last week.

He is now category manager for Turkey Hill Minit Markets, Lancaster, Pa. Oliver will be working under Brad Chivington, who also left GPM earlier this year.

Currently, Turkey Hill has more than 230 stores in Central Pennsylvania and in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa., areas.

It is a unit of the The Kroger Co., Cincinnati, which along [image-nocss] with its supermarket and other retail operations, also operates nearly 800 convenience stores in 16 states under five banners: Hutchinson, Kansas-based Kwik Shop Inc. (Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska), Pueblo, Colo.-based Loaf N Jug (Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming), Fremont, Calif.-based Quik Stop Markets Inc. (California and Nevada), Crestview, Fla.-based Tom Thumb Food Stores (Alabama and Florida) and Turkey Hill.
