PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. -- Open Pantry Food Marts of Wisconsin Inc. has added Nicole Stone to its management team as human resources manager.
Stone will direct Open Pantry's training and retention initiatives while furthering the company's overall strategic growth plans. Stone's primary objective will be working with Open Pantry employees to create a positive, fun, safe place to work and encouraging employees to focus on the company's vision, mission, and the seven core values of our culture. Stone will also be responsible for keeping Open Pantry in compliance [image-nocss] with all state and federal workplace regulations.
President and CEO of Open Pantry, Robert A. Buhler, said, Nicole has the rare combination of c-store HR experience coupled with best practices from outside the industry. It is her appreciation of the difficulties of frontline operations, and the high standards required of the operators that will create value for Open Pantry.
Stone brings several years of HR experience to Open Pantry including five years as a recruiter for Potawatomi Bingo Casino and two years as HR manager for Swatek Sales Corp.
Pleasant Prairie, Wis.-based Open Pantry operates a chain of more than 33 convenience stores based in Wisconsin while servicing 15 dealers and three franchisees. Open Pantry sites sell more than 40 million gallons of CITGO and BP fuel annually and have annual sales of more than $130 million.
