PepsiCo Names New Foodservice Division Exec

Siers promoted to VP industry relations, business development

PURCHASE, N.Y. -- PepsiCo Inc.'s newly formed Foodservice division has named Scott A. Siers to the position of vice president of industry relations and business development.

In this role, Siers will be responsible for elevating Pepsi's presence within the foodservice and vending industry through business development, strategic alliances, corporate sponsorships, trade advertising and other customer-oriented initiatives.

Siers most recently worked for PepsiCo's foodservice and vending sales division, where he held a number of assignments [image-nocss] including vice president of national accounts. Prior to that, Siers was vice president of sales for Tropicana, where he was responsible for the mass, club, military and foodservice channels as well as the Central America and Caribbean businesses.

He has also held consulting roles with Information Resources Inc. (IRI) and various senior roles in the Quaker Oats Co. Siers is a member of the IFMA Board of Directors, Chairman of the IFMA Education Foundation and has served on several industry committees.
