PetroConsulting Spins Off PetroProperties & Finance

New brand formed to focus offering

CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- PetroConsulting Inc. said it has decided to spin off its operational division to form PetroProperties & Finance LLC. The new company is headquartered in Coral Gables, Fla.

PetroConsulting's mission has changed from its early days as primarily a consulting company to its current form as a financially focused strategic business resource for petroleum marketers, said Mike Baskin, chairman and CEO of both businesses.

With its primary emphasis on finance and mergers and acquisitions, and after completing its [image-nocss] national coverage, it became apparent that a new brand should be formed to allow customers to better relate to the type of services offered, he said.

Our new corporate identity was the result of suggestions made by our field management, and it has proven to be very well received. Everyone agreed that the company's name should reflect our service offerings. Now, when people visit our trade show booth or see our name on a brochure, they instantly know what we do, said president Mark Radosevich.

PetroConsulting will continue to be based in Vienna, Va., and offer consultation and business planning services.

With direct national representation from coast to coast and from Canada to Mexico, PetroProperties & Finance exclusively serves the petroleum industry offering confidential strategic business services including debt refinance, acquisition loans, mergers and acquisitions, valuations and exit or growth strategies.
