Quick Chek's CFO Selected as One of N.J.'s Best

Smith among NJBiz honorees

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek Corp. has announced that chief financial officer James A. Smith has been selected one of the Garden State's CFOs of the year by NJBiz. Smith, who has served Quick Chek as CFO since September 2006, was among those in the category "Private Companies With Revenues Over $100MM."

He will be honored during a special awards event on October 26.

"It is a pleasure to congratulate James as he is recognized for his dedication, work ethic and ability," said Quick Chek president and chief executive officer Dean Durling. "His leadership [image-nocss] has been instrumental in our growth and his fiscal expertise has continued to consistently make a positive impact on our company."

Prior to his current position with Quick Chek, Smith served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and corporate secretary at Electronics Boutique Holding Corp. A Certified Management Accountant, Smith is also affiliated with the Financial Executive Institute and the Institute of Management Accountants.
