PLANO, Texas -- Tad Piner has been appointed to the position of Convenience Distribution Segment Director at Retalix USA.
Piner brings 17 years experience in convenience distribution and retail operations. He was at Southco Distributing for the last 14 years managing its IT department.
He will head the convenience distribution segment operations across all Retalix USA departments to address the business needs of its c-store operators and distributors. He will report to Tammy Weant, senior vice president of business development [image-nocss] for Plano, Texas-based Retalix USA.
The convenience industry represents a significant portion of the Retalix operations in the United States, it said, and the company serves the needs of both the retailers and their distributors and wholesalers.
