Rutter's Celebrates First Dauphin County Store

Capital Oil & Gas adds two locations

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's has donated $3,000 to three charitable organizations near its first Dauphin County convenience store, which opened October 10 in Swatara Township, Pa.

"Part of our responsibility as a company is to give back to the communities that support Rutter's," said Scott Hartman, president and CEO of Rutter's Farm Stores. "We're proud to make contributions to these worthy organizations."

The recipients include Hummelstown Food Bank ($1,000 that will ensure its ability to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for 85 families), Rutherford Heights Youth [image-nocss] Club in Swatara Township ($1,000 for its ongoing needs, including new baseball and basketball equipment) and Dauphin County's New Beginnings program ($1,000 for its youth leadership committee).

Family owned and third-generation managed, the Rutter's companies include Rutter's Farm Stores, Rutter's Dairy and M&G Realty. It operates more than 50 c-stores York, Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, Lancaster and now Dauphin counties in Pennsylvania.

Separately, Hialeah, Fla.-based Capital Oil & Gas Inc. said that it has added two new additional retail locations, a Chevron station located in Hialeah and a Texaco station located in Miami.

The reported gross revenues for these two new locations for the month of October were $1.4 million, with a net profit before taxes of $188,649.

"The company continues to gain revenues and net profits via continued acquisitions and will continue to add retail outlets that are monetarily beneficial to the company," said Ariel Rodriguez president and COO of Capital Oil & Gas.

The company operates retail gas stations/c-stores/fast-food operations throughout the state of Florida; it said it is "aggressively seeking additional acquisitions of comparable business operations and other additional synergetic related business that can enhance revenues and profits that will meet its required financial criteria."
