Rutter's Receives Regional Recognition

Retailer ranks at top of York County private companies list for 2013

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores has reclaimed the top spot on The Central Penn Business Journal's 2013 list of Top 100 Private Companies in York County, rising from No. 2 on the list a year ago.

Rutter's also climbed to No. 2 on the Business Journal's Top 100 Private Companies in Central Pennsylvania. In 2012, Rutter's ranked third on the list, which uses total revenue to determine the ranking.

Rutter's will also appear, for the seventh year in a row, on the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal's list of the 50 Fastest Growing Central Pennsylvania Companies, which will be published in September.

The readers of Susquehanna Style magazine also voted Rutter's to the top of the Best of York list, awarding the chain the Best Convenience Store award in its 2013 reader's poll.

York, Pa.-based Rutter's, a third-generation, family-owned business, has 58 convenience stores located throughout central Pennsylvania with Scott Hartman as president and CEO, Todd Rutter as president of Rutter's Dairy and Tim Rutter as president of M&G Realty.
