Susser Holdings Appoints Sullivan

Exec named EVP, treasurer, CFO

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Mary E. Sullivan has been named executive vice president, treasurer and CFO of Susser Holdings LLC and its subsidiaries, including SSP. Sullivan has been vice president of finance for Susser for the past six years.

Sullivan started working for Central Power & Light Co. in 1979 and was ultimately promoted to corporate officer and named treasurer for CPL, another company with over a billion dollars in annual revenue, and four billion in assets. In 1993, she joined Elementis Chromium and was named controller, corporate secretary [image-nocss] and treasurer, and was elected to the board. In 1999, she was named director of finance for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, where she supervised 140 employees.

In 2000, she joined Susser Holdings. She is currently supervising 85 employees.

Sullivan has served on the board of the Food Bank of Corpus Christi and the Paisano Council of Girl Scouts, where she continues to serve on the Finance Committee. She is a member of several financial and accounting professional associations. She has also served as an adjunct professor of accounting and speaker for various industry and professional meetings and conferences.

Susser Holdings, through its subsidiary, SSP Partners, is a third-generation, family-owned business that operates more than 319 retail convenience stores in Texas and Oklahoma and distributes motor fuel to more than 349 branded dealer units and 25 unattended units through its wholesale fuel division. There are 130 Laredo Taco Co. restaurants inside the retail c-stores.
