TravelCenters of America Grows in Michigan

Opens new TA locations in Tekonsha, Battle Creek

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC has announced the opening of two new TA-branded locations. TA Tekonsha is located at Interstate 69, Exit 25, in Tekonsha, Mich., and opened on June 25, 2012. TA Battle Creek, which opened June 28, is located at I-94, Exit 104 in Battle Creek, Mich. The addition of these two locations raises the number of full-service travel centers in the TA and Petro Stopping Center branded chain to 240.

Amenities at the TA in Tekonsha include a fully stocked travel store; full-serve, sitdown restaurant; five diesel lanes; TA Truck Service repair facility with four service bays to open within 30 days; six showers; emergency roadside service, available 24x7x365; and the UltraONE Rewards Program kiosk and swiping system.

The Battle Creek TA offers all of these same amenities. The Battle Creek location offers seven showers, nine diesel lanes and its TA Truck Service repair facility with five service bays is currently operating.

Both of these sites offers a variety of additional features and comforts for professional drivers, including a driver's lounge; game room; WiFi; CAT Scale; faxing/copying; an ATM, check cashing; and designated pet exercise area. Each site will undergo various renovations and improvements in the near future.
