WHEELING, W.Va. -- Tri-State Petroleum Corp. has partnered with Elias/Savion Advertising, a full-service advertising, public relations and interactive services agency located in Pittsburgh, to develop an integrated marketing, brand identity and public relations campaign for the convenience store operator and wholesale distributor of motor fuels.

The agency will provide a full complement of services to Tri-State Petroleum, including creative design, media strategy and web design.

"Convenience stores have evolved dramatically during the past 10 years, as have customer [image-nocss] expectations," said Ronnie Savion, co-founder, executive vice president and creative director for Elias/Savion Advertising. "As it enters a period of growth and evolution of its own, Tri-State Petroleum remains uniquely positioned to provide a dynamic product and service profile that will go beyond expectations to redefine the market space."

Founded in 1974, Tri-State Petroleum is a family-owned c-store operator and wholesale distributor of motor fuels responsible for the sale of retail and petroleum products in communities throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The company is working on a strategy to align its retail locations to more closely identify with the wants and needs of the customers and communities they serve.

"Tri-State Petroleum is focused on providing friendly service and the convenience of on-the-go shopping to our loyal customers in the close-knit communities where we operate," said Colleen C. McGlinn, CEO of Tri-State Petroleum. "We recognize the need to discover more about our customers and communities in order to serve them even better. That's where the expertise of our partners at Elias/Savion will come into play."

Elias/Savion provides customized marketing services for a variety of markets, including retail, energy, education, financial, healthcare, hospitality/destination, the legal profession, luxury marketing, building and construction, professional services, technology and telecommunications.
