Wrigley Names Commercial Ops Head

Scozzafava also joins leadership team

CHICAGO -- The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. said that Ralph Scozzafava has been named vice president of worldwide commercial operations, reporting to COO Ron Waters. In addition, Scozzafava becomes a member of Wrigley's Executive Leadership Team led by Chairman, President and CEO William Wrigley Jr.

In his new role, Scozzafava assumes global leadership responsibility for all facets of Wrigley's commercial business.

Ralph's solid record of performance, his ability to lead global teams and his passion for generational growth and success make him exceptionally well prepared for his new responsibilities.

Scozzafava joined Wrigley in 2001 as vice president of U.S. sales and customer marketing and was promoted in May 2002 to vice president and general manager of U.S. business. In January, 2004, he was named vice president and managing director for North America and Pacific, in addition to having oversight responsibility for two of the company's global business platformsFreshening and Enjoyment.

Before joining Wrigley in 2001, Scozzafava held a variety of senior leadership positions at the Campbell Soup Co.
