Pilot Renews Loyalty Contract

NBS providing processing services for Driver Payback

PLYMOUTH, Minn. -- National Bankcard Services Inc. (NBS), a major processor of loyalty transactions in the petroleum and convenience store segment, recently announced that Pilot Travel Centers LLC has renewed a long-term contract with the firm to provide loyalty processing for its Pilot's Driver Payback Program.

The Driver Payback Preferred Customer card allows users to earn points when they refuel. They present their card when purchasing diesel fuel. Every gallon of diesel fuel purchased on thediesel islands equals one point. Each point is equal to [image-nocss] one cent. The user earns one shower by purchasing a minimum of 50 gallons of diesel fuel per transaction. They may pick up a card at any Pilot Travel Center.

The card must be swiped at pump or taken inside before pumping fuel. Otherwise, no points will be awarded. Points and showers earned and the current balance of points and showers are shown on each Trendar receipt.

After six months of inactivity, points begin to expire at a rate of 250 points per month of inactivity until card is used or points expire, said Plymouth, Minn.-based NBS.

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Pilot operates 262 travel centers in 39 states and licenses 13 locations throughout Kansas, Montana, Iowa and Nebraska.
