TA Improves Loyalty Program

Enhances RoadKing Club

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America (TA) is improving its RoadKing Club loyalty program for professional drivers by now issuing TA RoadMiles award points for all purchases made at TA restaurants and food courts at participating locations, the company said recently.

Drivers can now earn RoadMiles points for breakfast, lunch and dinner from meat loaf and chicken fried steak to sub sandwiches and tacos.

Since its launch in October 2000, RoadKing Club RoadMiles award points could be redeemed for nearly any item or service at [image-nocss] a TA including truck repair, travel store items, meals, WiFi service and more. Now, as an additional member benefit to the program, the award points can be redeemed for lifestyle merchandise from Marketing Motivators including camping and outdoor equipment, power tools and merchandise that drivers can send home to their families and loved ones.

TA locations are drivers' homes away from home while on the road because we have more amenities and services than just about anyone in the travel center industry. They come to us to refuel, rest and recharge across our network, and the RoadMiles award points reward them for selecting TA, said Tom Liutkus, TA's director of advertising and public relations. We wanted to continue to enrich drivers' lives away from the road. With new ways to earn points for every meal and our exciting merchandise program, we think we've accomplished just that. We plan to continue RoadKing Club enhancements throughout 2006.

As part of the RoadKing Club, drivers can earn one point per gallon of fuel purchased and now will also earn one point per dollar they spend at participating TA sitdown restaurant and quick-serve food court locations.

TravelCenters of America, Westlake, Ohio, has 161 locations in 41 states and Canada.
