Additech Partners With Gas Station TV

Adds programming to turnkey merchandising systems

HOUSTON -- Additech, a leading North American outsourced operator of at-the-pump interactive merchandising systems, and Gas Station TV (GSTV), a leading North American digital television network at-the-pump, have announced a new partnership. Through this partnership, GSTV's standard programming will now be available to qualifying retailers that install an Additech system.

GSTV programming features ESPN sports, NBC News and entertainment segments, local weather from AccuWeather and informative advertising.

Additech's systems integrate with fuel dispensers and point-of-sale (POS) systems to offer a variety of products and services to consumers right at the pump. Now, GSTV enhances the fueling experience by providing engaging programming.

Additech's patented systems, installed on more than 4,000 fueling positions, enable fuel retailers to merchandise a variety of products and services to consumers right at the gas pump. The company's technology integrates with fuel dispensers and POS systems to offer retailers a complete merchandising solution. Additech offers its solutions to fuel retailers on a turnkey services basis, meaning that Additech manufactures, installs, operates and maintains its equipment on behalf of fuel retailers. Retailers receive a share of Additech's revenues without having to make a capital investment, while Additech is responsible for operating and maintaining the systems.

GSTV delivers national video distribution with hyper-local targeting, motivating a captive mass audience near purchasing opportunities. GSTV connects with captive consumers for four to five minutes during a natural pause point in their day. GSTV bridges the gap between TV, mobile and Internet with its technology. GSTV can "geotarget" by time of day and location, down to the station. Programming includes exclusive news and entertainment segments from NBC, sports from ESPN, and local weather from AccuWeather. A tool for driving business for advertisers and increasing the revenue stream for gasoline retailers, GSTV currently broadcasts to more than 100 U.S. designated marketing areas (DMAs) at leading gasoline retailers. GSTV said it is the preferred at-the-pump media partner at 13 of the nation's premier gasoline retailers. It said it is the only digital TV network at the pump with Nielsen Media Research-verified viewership, demographics, dwell time, network size and recall.
