Atlas Oil Relaunches Website

Redesign more customer focused

TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. has launched a redesigned website, www.atlasoil.com, created by Media Genesis. This project was a priority to Sam Simon, CEO of Atlas Oil, in order to ease the online process for his customers and better present his company's products and services.

The new site is the result of almost a year's worth of research, testing and customer feedback, the company said.

In addition to an entirely updated look and feel, the site provides improved navigation, new page layouts and enhanced accessibility. [image-nocss] It is a customer-focused site with a user-centered and task-based architecture. Information is current, accurate usable and findable. It has modeled best practices for web and information management; live, real time NYMEX information; downloadable product and service fact sheets; and an all-new Atlas jingle and business video clips to identify its corporate culture and commitment to customers.

Phase II additions will include Atlas EServices, a business-to-customer portal with drop-down login and accounting, order processing, price quoting, tank monitoring, as well as other pertinent features needed to ease the processes for customers; credit application with a 24-hour turnaround time; all of the Atlas's divisions (Atlas Oil, Atlas Retail, Fast Track Ventures and Atlas Cares) merged into one site; and a human resources management tool.
