Fills role on sales team as senior solutions engineer specialist
ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pinnacle Corp. said that Lonnie Buerge has joined its sales organization as senior solutions engineer specialist for Pinnacle's Wholesale & Retail Fuel Solutions. In this newly created role, Buerge will work closely with the Pinnacle sales team and petroleum wholesalers and retailers. He will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and unearthing opportunities to improve business performance across the petroleum distribution enterprise.

"I'm excited to advance my decades-long commitment to streamlining petroleum marketers' operations, [image-nocss] by joining ranks with the Pinnacle team," said Buerge. "Their passion to drive automation to further heights in this market aligns with my own desire to see petroleum marketers improve their performance by improving their use of technology."

Buerge brings to Pinnacle more than 25 years of leadership in applying technology to the whole range of downstream petroleum industry challenges. Building on his early experience as CFO of a large regional petroleum distributor and common carrier and convenience store operation, he has consulted for a wide cross section of petroleum marketers, improving their performance in procurement, transportation, hedge management, accounting, customer service, motor fuel taxes, data logistics, strategic planning and execution. He also served in various leadership roles on the PIDEX Motor Fuels Standards Committee (Distributors & Retailers Task Group) for several years during its early formation.

"We couldn't be happier than to welcome Lonnie to the Pinnacle team," said Bart Johnson, vice president of sales for Pinnacle. "For over two decades now, I've admired Lonnie's broad and deep petroleum industry knowledge, so it's especially gratifying now to have him leveraging that on behalf of our customers and prospects."
