Buerge brings to Pinnacle more than 25 years of leadership in applying technology to the whole range of downstream petroleum industry challenges. Building on his early experience as CFO of a large regional petroleum distributor and common carrier and convenience store operation, he has consulted for a wide cross section of petroleum marketers, improving their performance in procurement, transportation, hedge management, accounting, customer service, motor fuel taxes, data logistics, strategic planning and execution. He also served in various leadership roles on the PIDEX Motor Fuels Standards Committee (Distributors & Retailers Task Group) for several years during its early formation.
