Certified Oil Perks Up Pricebook

Retailer goes live with ADD eStore, Atlas Reporting in 80 convenience stores

COLUMBUS, Ohio --Certified Oil Co. Inc. is live on both ADD eStore and Atlas Reporting, Advanced Digital Data Inc. (ADD Systems) has announced.

Columbus, Ohio-based Certified Oil went live on ADD eStore at its home office on February 1 to start the installation, and it has completed the rollout of ADD eStore to its 80 convenience stores in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Founded by Carlyle Baker, in Piqua, Ohio, in 1939, Certified Oil remains one of Ohio's leading operators of convenience stores and retail fueling facilities. It maintains its own, proprietary "Certified" fuel brand as well as branding and distributing fuels for Marathon, Sunoco and Valero.

The project included the electronic conversion of the pricebook into ADD eStore and an ecommerce interface with S. Abraham & Sons as primary vendor. Certified Oil is using the ADD eStore/eCommerce interface to S. Abraham & Sons for importing electronic pricebook updates and vendor invoices.

The chain is using the ADD eStore interface with VeriFone Sapphire POS (point of sale) in all stores, and Certified Oil has migrated its handheld scanning application to ADD eStoreScan at all stores.

ADD eStore is an enterprise software application that supports home-office and backoffice operations for the convenience-store and gas-station industry. It provides comprehensive tracking, analysis and management of sales, purchases and inventory for multiple convenience-store locations. ADD eStore's database structure and overall system architecture are geared for customized data access and reporting. ATLAS Reporting is a comprehensive Business Intelligence Solution that turns data into actionable information that can be used to make critical and timely business decisions.

The Atlas Solution is available for the ADD eStore and ADD Energy E3 products. ADD eStoreScan is a handheld scanner that is used for automating the inventory audit process and for processing the direct store deliveries and verifying them against the store's price book.
