Sheetz rolls out RedPrairie Site Operations in 350 c-stores

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. has completed its rollout of consumer-driven optimization company RedPrairie Corp.'s Site Operations to direct activities in more than 350 outlets. The solution has been very instrumental in helping the company gain a single, chain-wide window into all aspects of site operations, including cash management, inventory and invoicing and foodservice management, the technology company said.

Jim Wenner, Sheetz IT director, said, "The RedPrairie system has allowed us to improve how we manage our store and foodservice operations. We are now able to pinpoint issues at [image-nocss] the corporate, store or item level."

RedPrairie Site Operations affects site-based operations-related functions including inventory management, cash management, task management and foodservice management.

"Anyone that has been in a Sheetz store and experienced their Made-to-Order food knows that Sheetz is much more than a convenience store," said RedPrairie CEO Mike Mayoras, "I am confident our Site Operations solution has and will continue to improve their bottom line, increase efficiency in their business across the board and improve their customers' experience."
