Clark Brands, CBE Offer Preferred Pricing

New program for VeriFone equipment
NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Clark Brands and Capitol Business Equipment (CBE) have partnered on a new program that will offer special pricing on VeriFone equipment to Clark branded and credit-card locations. This pricing is especially attractive for retailers who are working to upgrade their point-of-sale (POS) devices and PIN pads as part of their compliance strategy, the companies said.

"In Clark's continuing commitment to add value to our customers' businesses, we are pleased to team with CBE to offer preferred pricing on various VeriFone products," Karl Goodhouse, Clark's president, [image-nocss] said. "Our partnership with CBE is just one of the many additional benefits that our Licensees and credit card customers receive when they do business with Clark."

Clark has sent information about the program and pricing to its branded and credit-card locations. Clark locations will order equipment directly from CBE.

Headquartered in Alabama and serving thousands of stores from coast to coast, CBE was founded over 35 years ago with calculators and typewriters making up the primary product line. As technology advanced, the need for POS equipment became more demanding and the company changed its total focus to selling and supporting point-of-sale equipment and surveillance solutions to the hospitality/convenience store industry.

Naperville, Ill.-based Clark Brands owns the Clark family of brands. The company licenses the Clark gasoline brand and the Four Corners Coffee brand to independent petroleum marketers and retailers. Clark also processes credit card and payments transactions for independents, all of this in 28 states and the District of Columbia.
