Clark, Gilbarco Partner on Passport Upgrade Program

Offering Clark customers to upgrade from G-SITE to Passport

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Clark Brands LLC and Gilbarco Veeder-Root have entered a strategic alliance that covers point-of-sale (POS) systems as well as installation services and Gilbarco Fuel Management Services (FMS.) As part of the agreement, Clark and Gilbarco are offering Clark customers a program to upgrade locations that are currently operating G-SITE POS systems to Gilbarco 's Passport POS systems.

In the first phase of this strategic alliance, Clark and Gilbarco have developed a comprehensive program, including significant funding by Clark, for Clark customers to transition their G-SITE [image-nocss] locations to Passport. Future initiatives are under development, including a leasing option with a third party vendor and programs for other POS devices.

Passport POS system provides a highly intuitive touchscreen interface that minimizes training time, errors and shrinkage. It provides "seamless" connectivity and standardization, business information and security features, business growth tools and expandability.

Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Gasboy are major suppliers of outdoor payment systems, integrated fuel control, site management and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises worldwide.

Clark Brands provides branding and payment solutions to independents. Clark licenses the Clark gasoline brand and the Four Corners Coffee brand and processes credit, debit and gift transactions for independent petroleum marketers and retailers in 26 states
