Mapco adopts CPM for planning, reporting, performance monitoring

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Mapco Express Inc., a subsidiary of Delek US Holdings Inc., and a major gasoline and convenience store operator in the Southeast United States, has adopted Clarity Systems' Clarity Performance Management (CPM) as its planning, reporting and performance monitoring standard.

We needed a solution that would not only improve our budgeting and reporting processes in finance, but that would also provide an integrated enterprise wide performance management layer," said Assi Ginzburg, vice president of strategic planning at Mapco. "Clarity [image-nocss] is going to enhance Mapco's budgeting, long-term planning, capital planning, HR planning and reporting processes as well as be used to monitor performance by delivering key performance indicators, metrics and dashboards to Mapco's management."

He added, "With Great Plains for our GL, ADP for payroll, SQL Server and Microsoft Analysis Services already in place, as well as a variety of other source systems that we wanted to leverage, Clarity proved that CPM would provide us with seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.

Headquartered in Franklin, Tenn., Delek US Holdings consists of a network of 380 convenience stores, 328 of which are operated under the MAPCO Express, Discount Food Mart and East Coast brand names. The company's stores are primarily concentrated in and around four divisions located in Memphis and Nashville, Tenn., northern Alabama and Richmond, Va.

Delek US was formed in April 2001 as a platform to capitalize upon acquisition opportunities in the c-store industry. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delek Petroleum Ltd., one of four operating entities of the Delek Group, a publicly traded conglomerate in Israel.

Toronto-based Clarity Systems delivers corporate performance management software solutions for financial budgeting, planning, reporting, consolidation and analytics. Its real-time, web-based solutions enable improved corporate accountability and financial performance across an organization. CPM, the firm's flagship product, is a single integrated application.
