CMI Solutions Partners with Verge Retail

Delivers sales-based order replenishment to convenience stores

HENDERSON, N.C. -- CMI Solutions has partnered with Verge Retail to bring Verge’s iPad-based store replenishment platform to CMI customers.

Verge Replenish provides suggested orders based on scan data and allows convenience-store operators to manage inventory at the item level. The app will be used by store-level operators to eliminate guesswork and simplify inventory management.

Verge Retail's ordering software experience combined with CMI’s expertise in pricebook and inventory management is expected to result in less overhead without underselling, as stores place more accurate orders, the companies said.

Verge Replenish uses a proprietary order algorithm driven by sales history from CMI's back-office software. In addition to ordering and inventory management, Verge is positioning Replenish to be a store hub where employee activity and communication will exist.

“With this partnership, CMI has made it possible for any of their many progressive retailers to easily deploy the Verge Replenish platform,” said Carson Kuehne, Verge Retail chief innovations officer.

CMI Solutions, based in Charlotte, N.C., specializes in pricebook and inventory software and has served the c-store industry with innovative products for over 20 years.
