RedPrairie to acquire BlueCube Software

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Supply chain company RedPrairie Corp. and BlueCube Software Inc. signed a definitive agreement whereby Waukesha, Wis.-based RedPrairie will acquire Alpharetta, Ga.-based BlueCube Software.

The combined companies, operating under the name RedPrairie, will unify and support all products and services from both organizations within RedPrairie's end-to-end E2eTM suite, offering an expanded customer base access to more solutions and capabilities, deeper retail-specific functionality and wider geographic support, they said.

BlueCube President Kim Eaton will continue to serve in the Retail/Store Operations business leadership position out of Atlanta, under the direction of RedPrairie Company Leader John Jazwiec.

The acquisition provides a cornerstone for RedPrairie's E2e consumer-driven strategy that it said will drive value to every participant in the supply chain process by the way that it connects store operations with manufacturing, workforce performance and distribution.
