PDI, McLane offer conference block

AUSTIN, Texas More than 500 convenience store and petroleum industry leaders sharpened their competitive skills at The Industry Event 2004, a trio of conferences offered by PDI, McLane Co. Inc., Gerke & Associates Inc., and Meyer & Associates.

The second-annual event provided training, product demonstrations, networking and information sharing for convenience store and petroleum industry leaders.

The Industry Event 2005 will be held August 27-31, in Austin, Texas at the Hilton Austin, featuring:

PDI Users Conference [image-nocss] and Training Seminar (August 27-31). This conference represents a very unique hands-on forum to gain training and to network with industry subject matter experts. McLane Retail Technology Conference (Retailer Sessions: August 29-30; Welcome Reception, August 28; and Open Lab, August 31). McLane sessions will focus on maximizing the use of new technologies with a strategic look at information and processes vital to the growth of its Customers business success in this ever-changing Industry. McLane Merchandising Sessions (Manufacturer Sessions: August 30-31; Lab Sessions by Request and Welcome Reception, August 30; Hands-On Sessions, August 31). The conference will provide participants with a hands-on learning experience in the purpose and usage of the McLane Merchandising Technology applications.
