FireKing Appoints Poteet as EVP of Sales & Marketing

Will leverage background in cash management product development, operations, sales

NEW ALBANY, Ind. --FireKing Security Group has announced the hiring of Jim Poteet as executive vice president of sales and marketing, reporting to CEO Mark Essig.

With more than 24 years of experience, Poteet is a seasoned executive who brings in-depth understanding and success in payments, currency handling and the armored transportation industries, the company said.

He will have overarching sales and marketing responsibility for all safe product and commercial service activities at FireKing.

I look forward to contributing to the company's growth across all markets, both domestically and abroad."

Poteet comes to FireKing from Treasury Strategies Inc., where he provided consulting services to firms and financial institutions on banking, treasury and technology. In addition to previously serving as a senior vice president for North American strategy and innovation at Brinks, Poteet has held senior leadership positions at Fifth Third Bank, Bank of America and Wachovia Bank.

He is a frequent speaker at industry events, leveraging his extensive background in cash management product development, operations and sales.
