Fiscal Systems Releases the NEXOS I

POS solution designed to improve cashier productivity
MADISON, Ala. -- Fiscal Systems said that it will introduce its most affordable point-of-sale (POS) solution, the NEXOS I, at NACStech in New Orleans, May 5-7. The NEXOS I provides convenience store retailers with functionality and technology such as cashier and store reconciliation, department and inventory reporting and the ability to control the credit-card readers. The system's flexible modular architecture provides retailers the ability to upgrade to scanning with a full pricebook.

The NEXOS I's intuitive touchscreen on the IBM SurePOS platform is designed to improve [image-nocss] cashier productivity and enables greater control of the retail site combining all revenue centers into one system.

NEXOS I provides retailers in the convenience store market a viable alternative when considering their retail automation needs when replacing their legacy systems, the company said.

NEXOS I's Manager's Work Station (MWS) and Site Controller (SC) allow for automating daily sales reports, interface to most major dispenser brands and streamline transaction processing. The MWS and SC run on the LINUX operating system.
